Website Maintenance is a must!!!

Finding time to work and make my own website better is always great. Although, I am never satisfied with the end product. Which is becoming a problem hahahah. I’m pretty happy with the homepage at the moment. Besides the white line in the middle of the page, and the font that will not cooperate etc… A few more tweeks and I’m going to walk away. The internal pages are an entire different story. Which is the reason why I removed them from the navigation for now. Content, content, content. It’s always in the back of my mind. That’s why I’m writing this article.

I launched digital1380.com in June and have re-themed the website 3 times. Every time I switched the look it got better. As a creative for the internets for over 5yrs. now I’ve built almost 100 websites. Not entirely by  myself but my hands got dirty in everyone of those projects. I have learned so much along the way, and I continue to learn daily. You have to in order to keep up in this business. 

Anyway, I guess what I’m trying to say is CREATE, BUILD, then DESTROY and REPEAT. Don’t let your website get stale. Keep it fresh, add a button or something every now and again. Take some new pictures. Bring it to life. It’s your’s make it beautiful. People want to see it. Better yet they want to find it. Don’t forget to keep SEO in mind. There’s someone out there googling away trying to find your website. The search engines are crawling it as you read and I type. So do the right thing like Spike Lee and keep your website fresh and clean.
